World Cup Masters

  Drake / Short make Masters World Cup Squads       City of Peterborough HC’s Jonathan Short (Wales O40) and Adam Drake (England O40) have been selected for the inaugural FIH / IMHA Masters Hockey World Cup. Boys U12 Beeston7

The under 12 team which consisted of 4 players under 11 gave a very good account of themselves finished 4th.  They lost to a very good Leicester side 5-0 but recovered well to beat their next two opponents Beeston Bees (3-2) and Belper (2-0) with goals from Brendan Andres (3), Keegan Yeoman and Matt Jennings to qualify for the Semi-final where they came up against a strong Beeston Swarm side and lost 5-0.  The 3rd/4th place play off Read more…

Boys U14 Beeston7 Success

Earlier in the day the U14 team competed in a round robin event in which they won 5 and drew one of their games to be crowned champions. They Beat Beeston Bees with some scintillating passing hockey 5-0 with goals form Ben Lomas and two apiece from Oscar Sadicot and Brendan Andrews. Annual Dinner a resounding success

The Solstice was buzzing until the early hours of the morning as so many members and their partners, parents and siblings came together for a wonderful night of celebration – City of Peterborough HC clearly knows how to throw a party! Men’s Hockey Masters Divisional Tournament

5 prominent local players were chosen to represent the East in this over 40s divisional tournament.  Playing a total of 5 games, the East qualified for the semi-final stage where they beat the South and then won the title by beating the Midlands 2 – 1 in the final. Annual Dinner & Presentation Evening

Friday 11th May 2012 is the date in the diary for 200 CoP members, partners and parents as the Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening takes place. The event is being held at the Solstice, Peterborough in their upstairs room, starting at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm sit down. City 3rd XI wins Promotion without Playing.

  Although City had no league matches to complete, the final match in Division 1 was critical in determining whether CoP 3rd XI would retain their 2nd place and therefore achieve promotion to Premier B of the East League. Gareth & Laura tie the knot

Gareth Andrew and Laura Smith will be tying the knot in Laura’s family home in North Wales this Easter weekend. Ramgarhia v Cambridge
