Men’s Hockey Masters Divisional Tournament

5 prominent local players were chosen to represent the East in this over 40s divisional tournament.  Playing a total of 5 games, the East qualified for the semi-final stage where they beat the South and then won the title by beating the Midlands 2 – 1 in the final.

Following this, 5 of the East side were selected to take part in the England trial from which a squad will be picked to compete at the forthcoming Masters World Cup at Canterbury HC from 14th to 24th August this year.  Of the five, three are local being Adam Drake (City of Peterborough) plus Bradley Apted and James Sheppard of Wisbech
