Annual Dinner & Presentation Evening

Published by on

Friday 11th May 2012 is the date in the diary for 200 CoP members, partners and parents as the Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening takes place.

The event is being held at the Solstice, Peterborough in their upstairs room, starting at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm sit down.

Dress code is anything from formal evening wear to smart casual – please no tatty or torn jeans, t-shirts with dodgy slogans etc.

Tickets for those who do not have them will be in named envelopes on the door; if you have not yet paid please bring the correct cash or a cheque payable to Peterborough Town Sports Club if you cannot get the money to us in advance (we will continue to take it at training next Thursday or by post if you wish). If you have committed and do not turn up we will still expect payment!

We have a raffle with fantastic prizes including a stick signed by the entire GB Ladies Olympic hockey team and 50% of the monies raised will go towards club member Ed Walker’s charity – about which a little more on the night.

We will also be holding the draw for Olympic tickets for those who have recorded their wish to be included.

Not to mention of course all the prize giving for all the teams plus the annual club awards – over 30 trophies to give out!

With beer at just £2.50 a pint for the whole evening, and Andy Cave acting as Master of Ceremonies we are all set for a wonderful night.

If you have confirmed a ticket and suddenly find you cannot attend please contact Jane Wilson as we do have a waiting list and someone will almost certainly be able to fill your place. Please do NOT turn up on the night hoping to get a ticket for the meal as you will be turned away without a confirmed ticket. We are checking with the venue to see if those who are working and have asked about coming in later (9.30 onwards) are OK to do so and will advise when we have checked.

The Solstice is on Northminster, opposite the multi-storey car park – map here if needed

If you have any questions or issues please contact Jane Wilson on [email protected] or message me on facebook as soon as possible.
