win 2-1 no cards, played well for 10 mins, 5 mins at the start when simon buckley scored and then 10 mins at the end when simon scored again. in the middle we ran into tackles and gave the ball away. coxy got man of the match again and james law had cold hands, Fowler got knocked over and hit his head. We finished 7th in teh league, league image to follow.
Spalding arrived with a stong pridominetly young side and needing to get a point at least from the game. It looked a very different team to the one we played at kettering. Boro played well moving the ball around and making chances, but we just could not get the ball in the net. Kettering also played a good game missing a few chances. Greeny was man of the match saving numerous goals 2-0 at half time and the 3rd in the second half. They had lots of the play, we had a few short corners that did not get converted and wisbech top of teh league played well. A bit physical at times and umpiring was poor
We had 16 players today and thankfully Paul Evans running the bench. We were 2 down by half time, we were careless with posession and Uni pressed us and forced us to make bad passes that resulted in us giving teh ball away too often. 1 focus, attack wide , defend narrow. 2-0 at half time, 3-0 very quickly and 4-0 , conceeded 2, then 5-2, ended 5-4 very well played MOM sam mastin. goals waldo, cox, boyle, hastings, buckley no cards. Great Game, SAM played reqlly well first half, no so 2nd half. Frank stopped 2 possible goals on the line and fowler stopped 1.
Started the morning having had teh 4s take Ryan and then Boyle call off sick in thr morning. Wiggy gave us back Leo O which took us to 11 players.
