Report: CoP Men’s 5th XI vs Cambridge City 5th XI – February 03, 2024

Started the morning having had teh 4s take Ryan and then Boyle call off sick in thr morning.

Wiggy gave us back Leo O which took us to 11 players.

A warm sunny start at 12pm

We had 1 instruction to defend narrow and force the opponents wide.

We did this and the game play was great.

We were on top for most of the game.

Against the run of play Cambs scored from a short corner and went in at half time 1 – 0 up.

We came out for the second half fighting and scored within 2 mins of the restart, then again 2 mins later.

Unfortunately Cambs pulled 1 back to make ity 2-2

We carried on dominating the game but it ended 2-2
