Junior Membership, Registrations and Training Fees
The process for paying junior (and senior) membership is now live with all membership and training fees agreed for the 2017/8 season.
Step 1 – Sports Club Membership
Membership of the over-arching Sports Club is a prerequisite for all Hockey members, so to pay the membership subscription for the year, you will need to go to the Peterborough Town Sports Club website payment page.
Membership fees for the season, plus training fees are payable as a lump sum, or as a monthly contribution.
Step 2 – City of Peterborough Hockey Club Website Registration
It is also vital that all junior members are registered on the City of Peterborough Hockey Club website. This website is used as our main adminstration database, for contact with players/parents over match selections and for other general hockey club communications. It is also where all the senior and junior hockey team fixtures and results are listed.
Parents should register players on the website on the join the club page.
The City of Peterborough Hockey Club Junior Pathway sets out all the different age group sessions available from 5 years old and upwards. This covers not only junior training sessions, but senior team training that juniors eligible and good enough to play in senior Saturday league hockey (over 13 years old) can attend.
Junior Match Fees
City of Peterborough Hockey Club run junior teams in the England Hockey junior competitions for U14 (school years 9 and below) and U16 (school years 10 & 11). The match fee for these junior representative games for the club is £5.
Senior Match Fees for Juniors
When representing the senior teams in Saturday league hockey, juniors pay an £8 match fee per game. This includes a contribution to the senior training sessions coaching costs (which the junior players over 13 and playing adult league hockey) can attend, as well as match teas, transport and general league expenses.
