Boyant from out win at Long Sutton the captain repeated the team talk from the previous week of Keep possession and protect the ball.
We lost the toss and kept our end. We started strong and played well, protecting the ball and passing to each other. Good work resulted in a goal after
15 mins from Boyle to go 1-0 up. Despite some really good work from the team, Cambs pulled back to 1-1 and then shortly before
half time they got a 2nd to make it 1-2 down at half time. Great work from our keeper Luke Barkworth avoided a worse scoreline.
After a stern talking to at half time we came out fighting, 2 quick goals from short corners by Shane made it 3-2 and we were riding high.
Cambs fought back and levelled the game, but with great play and teak work, keeping posession and making good attacks buckey finally
got a goal at the 62 min mark to make it 4-3 where the game ended.
We managed this wek to avoid any cards and Shane Carlton got a well deserved man of the match.
