Umpiring Development & Courses Available to you
As the season is fast approaching, we are looking for members to take the steps towards assisting the club with umpiring.
If you are wanting to further your knowledge on the rules, as well as have the potential to help the club out, then we are looking for you! This is an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, communication and confidence whilst being well supported with coaching and development. The online courses run regularly and cost £30. Please speak to Michael Green after umpiring 3 games to claim your course costs back.
To all of those who are already Level 1 or higher within the club, we are hosting an umpire development day this Saturday 14th September, and will be carrying out an evening briefing on Friday night in the conference room at the club (old G&L shop) at 7pm. This will be a chance for all of us to discuss rules, interpretations, as well as discuss your individual progress and aspirations. Please contact Isaac on 07786238161 to confirm your attendance.
