South Lincolnshire County Hockey

England Hockeys player pathway starts with County Development Centres.

About Development Centres

Players take part in a range of training sessions or camp-based activities to develop their skills and begin to stretch them beyond school and club hockey.

How to get involved

  • Players are usually nominated by their school or club to attend a Development Centre
  • Players can be nominated from the age of 12-16
  • Players who want to play more hockey and develop their skills outside of school or club hockey should attend a Development Centre

County Hockey Associations

All Development Centres are run by County Hockey Associations (HAs), your main point of contact for the South Lincolnshire Development centre is Rebecca Hales, for more information please email [email protected]

Entry and Exit points

Players can join a Development Centre at any point during the cycle but, depending on location, Centres will run at different points during the season.  Juniors do not need to live in the county to be part of the county development centre.  It may be more convenient logistically to attend a closer development centre not in a child’s home county.

Signing Up and Payment

In order to ensure we have adequate coaches for each session and can ensure the best experience possible for our youngsters their place will need to be booked no later than the Wednesday before the session.  If you can please send me names and age groups for this session by Wednesday 1st December I would be very grateful.   Payments for this session (£10) can be made via PayPal to https://www.paypal.me/juniorcounty this will enable me to keep track of payments, reduce cash transactions and also provide you with a receipt.

Kind regards,
