Childrens University

City Of Peterborough Hockey Club are delighted to start the New Year with some exciting news that we have been successful in our application to become a learning destination with Children’s University.

The Children’s University is an international charity that provides 5-14 year olds with access to exciting, innovative experiences and activities outside of the school day.  For every hour of approved activity- our Mini Hockey being one- the children signed up with the Children’s University will get a stamp to add to their ‘Passport To Learning’ given on joining the University.  The children will also receive a graduation certificate presented at a local graduation ceremony when enough stamps are gained.

City Of Peterborough Hockey Club are now listed as a recommended venue and you will now see the Children’s University logo appearing on our website.

This is a brilliant achievement for the Hockey Club and demonstrates even further just how much of an attribute to the club our Mini Hockey sessions are.

Huge thanks has to go to all the coaches and volunteers that continue to give up their Sunday each week and also to the junior committee for securing this affiliation which we are extremely proud to be part of.
