Another amazing Annual Dinner and Awards night
189 players young, middle and older with partners, parents, grandparents and siblings gathered for our 3rd Annual Dinner and Awards night and it was once again just the most wonderful evening.
A full list of those who picked up an award will appear soon, but the headline winners were
- Clubman of the Year – Andrea Howard
- Senior Mens player – Jonny Appleton
- Senior Ladies player – Lauren Finding
- U21 Boys player – Marcus Howard
- U21 Girls player – Jodie Abraham
- Junior Boys player – Oskar Sadikot
- Junior Girls player – Emily Waddell
- Mens top goalscorer – Luke Baxter
- Ladies top goalscorer – Lyn Tancred
- Peter Lambert Memorial Award for top Goalkeeper – Charlie Exton
There were many more and every captain could have awarded many more trophies to players who have given so much to the club this season. It is such a great club to be a part of and we are already working on being bigger and better next season.
Thanks in particular to Sue Macnaughton & Tim Davies, Amanda Ayres, Andy Cave & Aussie Dave, Georgina Wilson, Paul Evans and Colin Lake for their help before and during the night to make the whole thing once again run so smoothly.
