Club Dinner and Presentation Night

Published by on

Yet another season with so much to celebrate right around the teams will culminate in our annual Dinner and Presentation night on Friday 10th May at the Solstice, Peterborough.

Around 200 members will congregate to see who will receive awards for their playing, scoring and goalkeeping exploits. The coveted Young Player of the Year, Senior Players and Junior Players will be awarded, as well as a new trophy this year. The Peter Lambert Memorial Trophy, sponsored the Fane Clinic, will be presented to the Goalkeeper of the Year – sure to be a hotly contested award. And of course, the Team of the Year with several contenders in the running.

Andy Cave is once again Master of Ceremonies so expect to be royally entertained, with Aussie Dave in charge of the musical technology….that could be interesting!

There will be a raffle with lots of good prizes on offer, and half the monies raised will be going to the Multiple Sclerosis Society with the blessing of our long serving club umpire Nigel Smith, who has recently been diadnosed with MS himself.

Dress code is smart casual – anything from black tie & ball gowns to chinos and shirts is fine. The beer and wine will be flowing, as no doubt will the speeches, so we are looking forward to another wonderful evening. Doors open 7 for 7.30 seating
