The Brummitt tournament for this year will be held over the weekend of Saturday 14th April and Sunday 15th April 2018.
The groups are:
|Pool A||Pool B||Pool C||Pool D|
|Ragamuffins A||Camp Retro||Sons of Pitches||Mighty Cocks|
|Fairly Legal||Beavers||Not-so-Jurassic Beavers||Festival Team|
|Barely Athletic||Ragamuffins B||Almighty Ones||Blue Green Zeds|
|GPO||Inches of Post||Bourne Again||Bourne Deeping Dragons|
Unfortunately, due to the continuous rain has meant that we're unable to have a grass pitch for the Brummitt this weekend - it's not been possible to even get the lines painted and the grass would be like a ploughed field within 5 minutes so would soon be unplayable anyway. The Brummitt committee have therefore rescheduled all Saturday's games to be played on the Astroturf pitch.
Each match will now be 20 minutes long, with no half-time, and there will be a 5 minute gap between matches. We will start earlier than planned - the first match is now at 09:30, and we will finish about 90 minutes later, with the last match starting at 19:05.
The revised fixtures are as follows:
09:30 Ragamuffins v Fairly Legal
09:55 Camp Retro v Beavers
10:20 Barely Athletic v GPO
10:45 Ragamuffins B v Inches of Post

As always the committee are looking for volunteers to help with the running of the event, so please contact Sue McNaughton (email@example.com), if you can help with umpiring, timing, or in any capacity at all - in the end if you have some time, Sue will find a job for you!
The charity being supported this year as part of the Brummitt weekend is the Cancer Wellbeing Service. The raffle proceeds this year will be split between this charity and club funds, so if anyone would like to donate a prize the committee would be very grateful. Again, contact Sue McNaughton if you have raffle prizes.
